Appending Arbitrary Columns
Given a (linear) ordered orthogonal array OOA(M, s, Sb, T , k) with T ≥ k, a (linear) OOA(M, s, Sb, T + 1, k) can be constructed.
Since the entries in depth T + 1 are irrelevant for strength k ≤ T < T + 1, the new OOA is obtained by appending arbitrary entries for depth T + 1.

This process can be reversed by depth reduction, therefore OOAs with depth T ≥ k and depth T + 1 are equivalent.
