Strength Reduction
It follows directly from the definition of orthogonal arrays that every (linear) OA(M, s, Sb, k) is also a (linear) OA(M, s, Sb, kʹ) for all kʹ = 0,…, k.
In the context of codes, every (linear) (s, N, d)-code is also a (linear) (s, N, dʹ)-code over the same alphabet for all dʹ = 1,…, d.
