Base Reduction for Affine Caps
Every s-cap in the affine space AG(u, br) can also be interpreted as an s-cap in AG(ru, b). The new cap is obtained by writing each element of Fbr as an r-dimensional vector over Fb.

The same operation can be performed in projective spaces, which makes it applicable to arbitrary orthogonal arrays.
